Description

Element rubber fenders are characterized by modular design with unlimited combination of lengths and directions. Generally, it is composed of pairs of legs and a UHMW-PE shield with large contact surface to low surface force. As your request, it also can be combined with steel panels for heavy duty applications where there are bow flares, belting, low hull pressure and high tides.

Element Fender combine rubber FE Element Fenders with UHMW-PE frontal plates and belt deflector if necessary. They are a cost effective alternative for certain applications compared to steel panels. Special Element Fender are very common in the Baltic Sea, the Black Sea or the Mediterranean Sea.

Rubber Properties

Rubber compounds are designed for long life in marine environments. All fenders are made using high quality natural and/or synthetic rubber compounds, formulated for high performance and reliability.

Rubber compounds include additives to resist the effects of ozone and ultra-violet light. The Vulcanization process (temperature, pressure and time) is strictly controlled to ensure a homogenous product with excellent physical properties and rubber to metal bond strengths.
